Wedding Inspiration: A Lively Italian Soiree in St. Helena

When fiercely affectionate families and great wine collide, it makes for a night of enchantment.

Valentina Guisti and William Forte chose a setting as romantic as their relationship. The two gathered with their loved ones at St. Helena's Harvest Inn, which has all the makings of a fairytale wedding—lush gardens, endless rows of grapevines, cobblestone paths and twinkling lights. Wedding shades of purples and pinks lent the event a distinct vibrance, matched only by the liveliness of the guests.

"Every family expresses their love differently, but you could actually feel, hear, and see the love at this wedding," says photographer Heather Scharf. "Lips kissing, tight hugs, constant cheering, glasses clinking, wine swirling, and so much laughter."

Scharf explains that it was her first Italian wedding and undeniably a night to remember—a Champagne toast at the alter, a flawlessly choreographed first dance, and a raging dance party afterward.
