District Debuts Full Bar Service

Ten years is a long time to wait for a stiff drink; District's announcement of a brand-new full-bar service arrives not a moment too soon. The new whiskey-focused bar program is a perfect complement to the restaurant's well-established wine program, which features more than 40 wines by the glass, plus an extensive private reserve list. According to District wine & spirits director Caterina Mirabelli, "There is a natural marriage with wine and whiskey. They both change with age and have very complex flavor profiles. Ultimately they are both best enjoyed when sipped." District now offers more than 60 small-batch bourbons, scotches and ryes, along with a lengthy list of whiskey cocktails. // 216 Townsend St. (South Beach), districtsf.com
