Which Champagne Are You?

We here at 7x7 are big fans of the bubbly. We use the term "champers" often and without irony. We may or may not be the proud owners of a desk-side office Veuve Cliquot fridge. So when Champagne purveyor Fat Cork presented us with an afternoon tasting, we politely obliged, promptly squealed, and readied our flutes.

Now You Can Make An Emoji Out Of YOUR Face

Express yourself!

Tired of the smiley-face emjoi? Or the ho-hum sadface one? Or, ugh, the poop one? (Speaking of, please stop sending me the poop emoji, friends. I am delicate toward displays of crude bodily functions.) Then check out ImojiApp. Created by San Francisco-based developer Tom Smith, it turns any face (or image) into a sticker.

Tony Gemignani Opens Slice House at AT&T Park

Will someone please take us out to the ballgame? The weather is prime for a balmy, beer-soaked evening, and the king of pizza is slinging slices at AT&T Park starting at tonight’s Giants-Dodgers series opener. What more could you ask for on a hot summer night?

"Top Chef" Casey Thompson of Aveline Takes You On a Sea Cruise

When you watch reality TV, do you not so secretly think of your favorite persona, “If we met, we would become best friends! I just know it!”? Well, that’s just creepy. Contain yourself. But, if you’re a regular watcher of popular (and grounded) reality programs like Bravo’s Top Chef, consider sidling up to past fan favorites from the show while on a vacation. A cruise vacation.

Silicon Valley Eats: Farm-to-Table Fare, Handmade Chocolate, and More

Oh hey, South Bay! In case you have any room left after indulging at the Gilroy Garlic Festival, we've got some openings that may pique your interest. Namely, chocolate, plus, farm-to-table fare, and Mexican food. Hungry yet?

Eat dessert first at Timothy Adams Chocolate, now slinging handmade truffles in downtown Palo Alto. Owners Timothy Woods and Adams Hollands have been selling their homemade goods at farmers markets (the two live in Sausalito); the Palo Alto location is their first brick-and-mortar. Truffle flavors will vary, but expect sour cherry, fresh mint, and even absinthe, sourced from local farms and vendors. Wash it all down with an iced or hot chocolate for good measure.

In the Bay Area's continuing trend of stadium chic, AT&T Park just revealed the latest installment to their roster of high-end experiences. Christened the Gotham Clubhouse, in honor of the Giants' original team name, it opens to the public tomorrow, Friday, July 25, kicking off the SF-LA series.

The Big Eat Live: The Most Delicious Day of Summer
