Vi Vien originally lived in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. She met Andrew on a trip to Disney World and that was where their story unfolded. He lives in San Francisco, so after months of traveling to numerous cities within North America to see each other, they decided to finalize their commitment to each other by getting engaged.

From getting ready at their home to take photos at Crissy Fields and finally at the Great American Music Hall, they truly made the best out of a very, very windy and cold day! Small details such as the bouquet of flowers and boutonnieres were crafted together by Andrew's sister, Sarah Kay Oplinger. The key boutonniere is of special meaning, as it was a key to house in the family. The officiant, David Oplinger, had an important role in uniting these two people.
Their family and friends definitely know how to throw a party with all the dancing and singing that ensued after dinner.
