A Mission Shop Owner Showcases Her Relaxed Style

By

Name: Mira Pickett

Hood: The Mission

Job: Owner of Mira Mira

What are you wearing?
Dress by Ace&Jig. Booties by Rachel Comey. Bag by Carrie Forbes. Earrings are Nikki Jacoby.

How would you describe your style?

I have a pretty relaxed style. I generally wear things a bit oversized and I'm always in comfortable booties. I think my bike dictates my outfit too much. I've been trying to break out of that habit and rock a lot more dresses recently.

How would you describe San Francisco style...or is there even such a thing?

I think that S.F. style is pretty diverse, but always practical. With all these hills and the wind setting in without warning, we always have to be prepared.

If you had to live anywhere else, where would it be?

I just got back from Mexico, so I have to say that Sayulita has been calling my name pretty hard these past few years. I think it would be really fun to open a boutique in a small beach town and bring a unique perspective to the tourists there.

What are your top 5 San Francisco spots?

I'm in love with Lolo on Valencia, M&L Market for the best sandwiches on the planet, secret sunny spots in GG Park for picnics, Orbit Room cocktails, and Warakabune sushi boat."

What 3 things are you most obsessed with right now?

I've been obsessed with dry brushing recently and I've been getting all my friends in on it. Also, my friend's dog Solo Vino is pretty much top on my obsession list right now. He's too cute. And Anthony Bourdain. It's pretty much a constant No Reservations marathon at my house these days."

What's up next for you? Anything exciting?

Mira Mira just turned 3, so we're planning a big blowout party to celebrate that and the official launch of our webshop. You're all invited!"
