Wedding Inspiration: Nature Lovers Say "I Do" in Sonoma

By

In the summer of 2013, Ryan met Amanda at a summer camp in Pennsylvania. While paddling a boat in the middle of Laurel Lake, he asked her to be his girlfriend.

Over Valentine's Day weekend three years later, the couple hiked Valley Loop Trail in Yosemite National Park. In a purely Northern Californian romantic moment, Ryan proposed to Amanda at the iconic Bridalveil Fall.

Lovers of nature, Amanda and Ryan later said I Do in an intimate ceremony at a wooded venue in Sonoma County, surrounded by family and close friends. Rustic wood design elements and bits of DIY craft provided the decor for the celebration that included such old fashioned fun activities as cornhole and jenga. All vendors were friends of the family. The lovely make up and hair was done by a sister and delicious food prepared by cousin members.
