All the Bay Area Restaurants Closed for #DayWithoutImmigrants

Several Bay Area restaurants and grocery stores have shut their doors Thursday, February 16th to participate in a nationwide protest called "A Day Without Immigrants." The day-long protest takes a stand against President Trump's travel restrictions and crack down on undocumented immigrants.

  • Wise Sons Jewish Delicatessen (24th Street) in San Francisco will close. The other locations will donate a portion of the day's sales to the ACLU.
  • Calavera, Chop Bar, and Lungomare in Oakland will each offer a paired down food menu and donate a portion of the day's sales to the ACLU Nationwide.
