On Thursday, May 17 doors opened at the Asian Art Museum for the Phantoms of Asia Preview Party. Guests celebrated the new contemporary art exhibition that explored spirituality, the cosmos and the afterlife in Asia. Artists were present to show off their hard work and greet guests as they walked through.

Guests enjoyed refreshing free drinks courtesy of Kirin Beer, Mi Casa Tequila and Haamonii Shochu—all while grooving to hedonistic dance music by DJs Vin Sol and King Most. Sample bites were also on hand, courtesy of Sinto Gourmet and Polkadotties. With amazing art, music and drinks, what more could you ask for? The night was a smash hit, leaving guests only wanting more.

Phantoms of Asia: Contemporary Awakens the Past runs until Sept. 2nd at the Asian Art Museum, 200 Larkin St., asianart.org
