Seven Notable Locals Make Their Picks for the SF International Film Festival

Seven of San Francisco's most notable denizens have selected the flicks they are most excited about at this year's upcoming San Francisco International Film Festival. Former Mayor Willie Brown, San Francisco Ballet's principal dancer Maria Kochetkova, actor Delroy Lindo, Chez Panisse superwoman Alice Waters, offbeat film director John Waters, Metallica drummer Lars Ulrich and the San Francisco Giants have made their picks out of the more than 150 films that will be screened during the two week festival.

The 56th Annual San Francisco International Film Festival runs April 25–May 9, with screenings of films and special events throughout the city.
