SFMade Week Shows Local Love

Timbuk2 bag

Next week is your chance to get up close and personal with the city's plethora of local makers.

No doubt you've already savored a Ritual coffee, quaffed a Big Daddy IPA, and thrown on a Timbuk2 messenger bag before hopping on your Mission Bicycle, but now you can pay homage to all of your favorite homegrown labels at the same time. SFMade Week (May 6–May 12), now in its third year, delves a little deeper than just the finished product—it's a firsthand look into SF's manufacturing sector and the people who get down-and-dirty to make our beloved wares. Here's what not to miss (but check out the full schedule online for panel discussions, orientations, etc.).
