Sommerfest at the German Tourist Club

Round out a weekend of Euro celebrations at the German Tourist Club. Every year during summer the Tourist Club, nestled deep in the Muir Woods, features a German styled Sommerfest, complete with live music and traditional German dance groups, BBQ and, of course, German style beer. To get to the Tourist Club you need to hike in, so give yourself at least an hour to traverse through the stunning Redwood forests that surround the chalet. There is a map and directions on the Tourist Club’s website. The Festival starts at 12 pm and continues into the evening. So dig up your clogs and Lederhosens and enjoy the sun as you soak in the best Germany has to offer. Sunday, July 15, 30 Ridge Ave, Mill Valley, CA.
