Joe's Cable Car, without a doubt, around Mission & Silver (4320 Mission St). Though he has slightly more expensive items, his Cable Fresh Ground Beef Steak comes in at under $10, and is worth every penny. As advertised, they grind their own meat, fresh, daily. And Joes's has been featured on the Food Channel. Joe, himself, is there on most days, and has been since 1965 (we assume he goes home at night :).
