Pacific Heights finally gets its pizza fix - Pizzeria Delfina opens on Fillmore and California today. We couldn't help but stop in yesterday to see how things were coming along. Chef-proprietor Craig Stoll was busy at work, overseeing the final training of his chefs and waiters for yesterday's friends and family tasting. The Pac Heights restaurant features a beautiful Faema 61 espresso machine, 6 flavors of gelati made daily and Vino alla Spina (wine on tap!). Stoll says other differences from the 18th street location are a more fleshed out Piatti (with more pastas) and Gelato in Brioche, which sounds too good to be true.
