Boogie Down at the Annual Blue Bear School of Music Benefit at Bimbo's

San Francisco is full of talented musicians, and these days they're getting their chops earlier and earlier, thanks to veteran organizations like the Blue Bear School of Music–which nurtures beginners and helps get seasoned players off their butts and on stage where they belong.

To support the extraordinary work of the Blue Bear School of Music, boogie on down to their annual benefit at Bimbo's 365 Club on May 18 to see a powerhouse performance by Robert Randolph & The Family Band, let by Robert Randolph, a pedal steel guitar virtuoso who has been called one of the 100 greatest guitarists of all time by Rolling Stone. If that's not inspiring for the kids, we don't know what is. And, of course, talented Blue Bear Youth Bands will kick-start the evening with their own rocking performances.

If you throw down for tickets, you'll help out Blue Bear's esteemed and fun programs–many of which benefit low-income and at-risk kids. See you on the dance floor!
