With Halloween just in sight, all the creepy ghouls and goblins are coming out for special super late-night shows into the dawn. There will be DJ sets galore, so get your vampire fangs on and get ready to get down, we've got some amazing shows coming your way.

With their new album, There Is No Enemy, just released a few weeks ago, now's a great time to snag a ticket for Built to Spill. The Boise indie rock band is making a stop at the Fillmore as part of their US/Canada tour. Expect the requisite catchy, heavy guitar hooks this band is known for, freshened up a bit. Jonathan Segel will open.

SF’s second annual Outside Lands Music & Arts Festival is just days away. We can hardly wait for the weekend, and we’re especially excited for this year’s OSL night shows (details to come later today) to quench our thirst until Friday. But speaking of Friday, here are our picks for Friday’s must-see acts at Outside Lands. We recommend getting well acquainted with the stage layouts before showing up and running around. It’s going to be a tight schedule, so make sure you plan who you want to see beforehand.
