Always one to keep up with local pop culture, Beach Blanket Babylon has added some colorful new characters to their hilarious cast.
As we're sure you already know, Beach Blanket Babylon follows the story of Snow White as she takes a fast paced journey around the world in search of her “Prince Charming.” This year, new characters include presidential candidates Donald Trump, Bernie Sanders, Jeb Bush (dressed as an actual bush) and Hillary and Bill Clinton as well as Adele, Bill Cosby, Kim Kardashian, Lady Gaga, and Taylor Swift. With special appearances by characters from Orange Is the New Black and Star Wars. And don't forget the Golden State Warriors!
Started in 1974, Beach Blanket Babylon is the world’s longest running musical revue. Characters such as Elvis Presley, Tina Turner, James Brown, Glinda the Good Witch and Mr. Peanut have been in the show since the beginning, alongside a rotating cast of timely characters.
Beach Blanket Babylon is also adding additional shows to their regular performance schedule just in time for the Super Bowl. Catch them Tuesday, February 2 – Thursday, February 4 at 8pm or Friday, February 5 — Saturday, February 6 at 6:30 & 9:30pm.
