Starbucks Versus Dunkin: Coffee Cup Controversy, USA Today

Did Dunkin’ Donuts just start a war with its seasonal coffee cup design? The coffee chain unveiled its seasonal coffee cup design on Tuesday amid controversy over Starbucks' unadorned red coffee cup. The Dunkin’ Donuts cup has a green and red holiday design and says "Joy" in red letters. While the cup doesn't explicitly say "Merry Christmas," on social media many questioned whether the "Christmasy" design was a jab at Starbucks' plain red cup. Starbucks maintains that their unadorned seasonal cup allows customers to put their unique drawings and message on it, but some say it’s one more way that companies are stripping the Christmas message from the holiday season.

Wizarding World Opens at Universal Next Year, Variety

Hogwarts is headed to Hollywood. The hit Harry Potter attraction, “The Wizarding World of Harry Potter,” opens in Universal Studios Hollywood in spring of 2016. Unlike its Universal Studios Orlando counterpart, the signature flight simulation attraction, “Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey,” will be in hyper-realistic 3D. Larry Kurzweil, president of Universal Studios Hollywood, says it will be "a game changer in the Los Angeles market." He adds, “We expect its arrival to set record high attendance and will have a lasting impact on L.A. and California tourism for years to come.”

How to Get an Instant Man Bun, Groupon

One of the hottest trends in men’s fashion, the man bun has been popularized by fixed-gear bicyclists, introspective Hollywood actors alike, and by 7x7 editors. But although the hairstyle oozes with fashion sense, those who sport it might find themselves outcasts in sports bars, motorcycle gangs, and the annual government-mandated machismo test. This attachable—and, equally important, detachable—man bun lets you blend in with your surroundings, putting it on when you smell fair-trade coffee or hear a banjo, and taking it off when someone utters the word bro.

Beard Turned Christmas Tree?, Bored Panda

Big bushy beards are approaching the mainstream, so wannabe trendsetters need to find new ways for their facial foliage to stand out. This holiday season, these bizarre Beard Baubles will do the trick – these clip-on Christmas decorations will turn men’s faces into glittering festive centerpieces! Surprisingly, they are wildly popular – the first run of them has already sold out, though more should be made available. The proceeds will go to Beard Season, an Australian charity whose goal is to raise awareness of melanoma.
