San Francisco General Hospital Foundation hosted more than 1,000 big-hearted Bay Area young professionals on the field at AT&T Park for Hearts After Dark on Thursday, February 18, 2016.

Sugar Ray front man Mark McGrath took the stage with ultimate cover band Pop Rocks for an unforgettable performance as guests danced the night away on center-field. AT&T Park was adorned with brand new Hearts in San Francisco sculptures, providing the ideal backdrop for an “only in San Francisco” celebration of our City’s world-class public hospital—Priscilla Chan and Mark Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital and Trauma Center.

This year, Hearts After Dark, in combination with the Heroes & Hearts luncheon and Hearts in San Francisco project, has raised more than $1.6 million for life-changing and life-saving programs and initiatives at Zuckerberg San Francisco General.

The Hearts Signature Events are the Foundation’s largest source of unrestricted revenue and help to fuel the Hearts Grants Program. Since 2004, the Foundation has funded more than 400 grants totaling more than $10 million dollars, including 28 grants last year. Sales of the Hearts in San Francisco “heartworks” combined with Hearts Signature Events proceeds (2004 - 2016) have raised more than $14.6 million for the Foundation.
