A Burning Man Children's Book Now Exists

Filled with psychedelic music, carts shaped like dildos, and enough drug use to put Lewis Carroll to shame, Burning Man should (seemingly) be an adults-only playground. But why should grownups have all the fun?

Peter Armenia, long-time Burner and father of four-year-old daughter Veronica (who has been to Burning Man), is both the photographer and publisher of a new children's book, Burning Man: The World's Biggest Playground.

While younger patrons have been attending Burning Man since its inception in 1986, Armenia boasts that this is the first children's book about Black Rock City.

"The kids already get it. It’s the rest of us who have to remember to have fun as we walk through life," Armenia states on his website.

The book, which includes professional photography by Armenia, had raised $5,000 of its $9,000 Kickstarter goal. Backers who donate $40 will be among the first to receive a copy of Burning Man: The World's Biggest Playground.

This eccentric children's book has already received attention and praise from the likes of Larry Harvey, co-founder of Burning Man.
