Watch: 'Steve Jobs' Film Trailer Starring Michael Fassbender

As if we weren't still reeling from the 2013 disaster, Jobs, starring Ashton Kutcher, Hollywood is bringing beloved Apple pioneer Steve Jobs to the big screen once again—this time starring X-Men's Michael Fassbender as the tech visionary.

The new take is called Steve Jobs, and while Fassbender looks even less like Jobs than Kutcher did, he surely hopes to carry the role with his on-point mannerisms and delivery.

As the Verge reports, the film—which was adapted from Walter Isaacson's hit biography by screenwriter Aaron Sorkin—is made up of three half-hour scenes that track the famous press unveilings of the Macintosh, NeXT, and the iMac.

The film is directed by Danny Boyle, who won the Academy Award with Slumdog Millionaire, and Seth Rogan stars as Steve Wozniak, Jobs' longtime friend and collaborator, with additional performances from Kate Winslet and Jeff Daniels.

See the film in theaters on October 9.
