Aether Urban Adventure SF

What: A scenic morning moto ride led by SF-based motorcycle collective Piston and Chain. The route will include some of the most gorgeous roads in the area and conclude at a training location on Treasure Island. Breakfast and lunch are included, and you'll get the chance to compete in the urban debris field obstacle course for sweet prizes.

DINNER + A MOVIE 

SF Urban Film Fest

What: A film festival focused on urban planning, civic engagement, and film. Plus, there's an epic dance party Friday night in celebration of our fair city. 
Why: Featured documentaries include Impossible Light about the creation of the twinkling Bay Lights and The Hidden Cities of San Francisco about the city's historic Fillmore district.

BEHIND THE LENS OF A SF ICON 

Fred Lyon at the Harvey Milk Photo Center 

What: If you don’t know his name you’ve seen his work. Fred Lyon has been photographing San Francisco since 1946 and has been credited in magazines such as Vogue, Glamour, Life, and Seventeen. At 90 years old, the photography legend has just released a beautifully crafted new book and the Harvey Milk Photo Center is honoring his work with an exhibition of 60 photo prints of San Francisco over the last century. 

Why: You'll get to meet the famous photographer in the flesh (and ask about life in SF before you were born).

SUPPER WITH FRIENDS 

Rick’s Supper Club Dinner Series

What: Owner-chef Rick Hackett of Jack London Square’s Pan-American restaurant Bocanova, is continuing his monthly Rick’s Supper Club themed dinners. Hosted on the first Thursday of each month, each dinner highlights Bay Area seasonal ingredients, purveyors, and winemakers with a family-style, five-course menu.

Why: Celebrate National Pepper month with a menu of dried cranberry tamale-pumpkin ice cream, yellow pepper soup, fried padrone pepper, and more. 
When: Thursday, November 6: 7 pm, $78.
