What: Oakland's Jack London Square is hosting a night of singing, dancing, and iconic disco hits. The movie adaptation of hit broadway musical Mamma Mia!, starring Merly Streep and Pierce Brosnan, will be screened along with lyrics to the popular songs so all hardcore ABBA fans can sing along. 

Why: Because bedazzled jumpsuits and platform shoes, duh. 

When: Warm up those vocal chords by 8:30pm on Thursday, September 3rd.

Enjoy a View while in Downward Dog

Free Shakespeare in the Park: Romeo & Juliet 

What: The 33rd season of Shakespeare in the Park continues its tradition by presenting a free Labor Day showing of Romeo & Juliet (its first production since 1992!).

Why: Enjoy a day of theatre and celebrate not being in the office. 

When: Curtains open at 2pm on Monday, September 7th. 

Where: Take a blanket and stretch out on the Presidio's Main Post Parade Ground Lawn (between Graham St & Keyes Ave)
