The 5th annual Y for Youth Luncheon brings the community together to support YMCA of San Francisco Youth Programs.

The 5th annual Y for Youth Luncheon, on Friday, March 18 at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts, will celebrate the impressive achievements and successes of Bay Area youth since the event was launched in 2012. In five years, the event has raised over $1.8 million and has brought together hundreds of Bay Area corporate, community, and philanthropic leaders to support the YMCA of San Francisco’s programs that serve more than 10,000 youth daily.

The YMCA of San Francisco serves youth and their families in SF, San Mateo and Marin counties, unlocking opportunities for youth with a range of programs.  Starting with infant and toddler daycare, the YMCA is there to support families in raising the next generation of leaders. Throughout their lives, youth can participate in enriching programs including sports, day camps and summer camps, youth and government classes, mentorship, and alternative high school opportunities. Each day, the YMCA of San Francisco serves more 10,000 children through 14 branches and 120 community sites.

“We’re incredibly grateful to the growing community of compassionate leaders who have joined us to support our future,” says Chuck Collins, President and CEO of the YMCA of San Francisco. “With your continued support, we will be able to fulfill our promise of helping all youth reach their full potential.”

The YMCA of San Francisco makes accessible the support and opportunities that empower people and communities to learn, grow and become healthy.

With a focus on youth development, healthy living and social responsibility, the Y nurtures the potential of every youth and teen, improves the SF Bay Area's health and wellbeing, and provides opportunities to give back and support neighbors.

At the YMCA of San Francisco, strengthening community is the cause. Every day, they work side by side with the community to make sure that everyone—regardless of age, income or background—has the opportunity to improve their lives and their community.  //  For more information, visit ymcasf.org.
