Drink Here Now: 5 Places to Sip This Week

1. Fish & Farm's New Happy Hour: Fish & Farm, the restaurant in the Mark Twain Hotel off Union Square, is hoping to lure a few locals with a new happy hour focused on sustainable bites. On offer: $3 craft brews, $5 wine by the glass, and 2-for-1 featured cocktails like the Crystal Skull 14 (Crystal Head vodka, Cynar, agave nectar, lime, and allspice, topped with burnt orange), which recently won a Crystal Head vodka cocktail competition. Pair your drink with $3 bites like juicy pork skewers, housemade market pickles, or fish tacos. (Daily, 4-6 pm, at Fish & Farm, Mark Twain Hotel, 339 Taylor St., Union Square.)

2. The San Francisco Pour: Local deals site Pinchit is throwing a booze-centric festival this Thursday, with over 30 beer and spirits brands pouring their best for the crowd at the Julia Morgan Ballroom. In addition to the sampling, they'll feature bites from Credo and live music, while a portion of the proceeds will benefit the Barbary Coast Conservancy of the American Cocktail. VIP tickets have already sold out, but general admission passes ($30) can be purchased here. (Friday, March 30, 6-9 pm, at the Julia Morgan Ballroom, 465 California St., 15th Floor, Financial District.)

3. Zero Zero Unveils Barrel-Aged Negronis: The Negroni definitely has its partisans in this town, and if you haven't sampled the classic combo of gin, Campari, and sweet vermouth, consider trading up for Zero Zero's barrel-aged version, which adds new layers of flavor. Aged for 136 days in an American oak barrel, the drink makes its debut this Thursday-- and to celebrate the occasion, it'll be just $5 that evening. (Thursday, March 29, 6-9 pm, at Zero Zero, 826 Folsom St., SOMA.)

4. Wood Shoppe SF at Brick & Mortar: This fun, free monthly music series continues to draw interesting acts: this month, they've got 20-year-old Australian chanteuse Grace Woodroofe, along with Oakland synth-poppers James & Evander and D.C.-based rockers U.S. Royalty. To keep you dancing, the bar is serving up $3 Trumer Pils and $5 Stoli cocktails all evening long. (Tuesday, April 3, 8 pm-12 am, at Brick & Mortar Music Hall, 1710 Mission St., Mission.)

5. Twenty-Five Lusk's Beer and Bites Pairing Menu: The swanky bar and lounge at Twenty-Five Lusk is closing out March with a fun pairing menu of Belgian beers and snacks. For $28, they're serving up three six-ounce pours of Belgian brews (Delirium Tremens, St. Bernardus wit, and Bacchus, a Flemish red ale) with three paired bites (a steamed pork belly bun, spiced prawns with crispy plantains, and a roasted duck crepe with Comte cheese). It's only available through Saturday, so get in there quick if you want to try it. (Through Saturday, March 31, 5:30-10 pm, at Twenty-Five Lusk, 25 Lusk St., SOMA.)
