Derby Day and Cinco de Mayo in the same week? This could be trouble.

Countdown to Cinco de Mayo at Copita

Can't wait for May 5 to drink margaritas? Copita's got you covered. To celebrate their 2nd Anniversary, Copita Tequileria y Comida is counting down the days to Cinco de Mayo with a different margarita and $5 taco del dia every day for five days. El primero de Mayo, Executive Chef Gonzalo Rivera will be pairing the Ceviche Taco with a Cucumber Mint Margarita. El segundo de Mayo will feature a Fried Pork Belly Taco with a Lemon Basil Margarita. El tres de Mayo, try the Crunchy Rock Shrimp Taco with the Lovely Rita, or wait until Quatro de Mayo for the Duck Carnitas Taco with the Spicy Margarita. On Cinco de Mayo, celebrate with the Oyster Taco and a Copita Margarita. If you want a break from margaritas, order a Palenque Punch to sip while admiring the chalk drawings commissioned for the occasion. 739 Bridgeway, Sausalito

Dogpatch Pub Crawl on Cinco de Mayo

It's a good thing so many great bars are within stumbling distance of each other in Dogpatch. Suerte Tequila is hosting a Cinco de Mayo Bar Crawl in the heart of the Dogpatch Neighborhood on Monday, May 5 from 7:00 - 10:00 p.m. If you're over 21, you can join the progressive party for free, visiting five stops serving five different Suerte Tequila cocktails, taco specials, and bar snacks. Prices range from $5 to $8 for food and cocktails. Grab a bar crawl card at any of the participating bars and get a stamp at each stop. Once you've collected four stamps, the final secret Dogpatch drinking location will be revealed. Pick up your pub crawl passport at Poquito (2368 3rd Street), Third Rail (628 20th Street), Dogpatch Saloon (2496 3rd Street), or Magnolia Brewery and Smokestack (665 22nd Street).
