Collaborative Italian Craft Beer Dinner

Oakland neighbors A16 Rockridge and Trappist Provisions are teaming up to host an Italian Craft Beer Dinner this Thursday. Chef Rocky Masselli of A16 has crafted an al la carte tasting menu to complement several of Trappist's most sought-after brews. Think oysters, horseradish, shallots, and vinegar paired with Borgo 'Perle e Porci' Oyster Stout or blood sausage and smoked pork belly paired with Ducato 'Beersel Mattina,' a bottle-aged Saison/Lambic. Make reservations online. // 5356 College Ave. (Oakland); a16rockridge.com

Super Bowl-Inspired Cocktails

Super Bowl traffic and road closures got you down? Bluestem Brasserie wants to lift your spirits with a couple of cocktails inspired by the teams playing in Super Bowl 50. Representing the Carolina Panthers, the Rye Tar Heel features Rittenhouse Rye, sherry, Sweet Vermouth, saffron-infused simple syrup and Bittermens Orange Cream Citrate, shaken and served in a martini glass and garnished with a flamed orange peel. Denver Broncos are represented by Pike's Gold, made with cranberry-infused gin, Pedro Ximinez sherry, and fresh orange juice, shaken and served martini-style, with a sprig of rosemary. // 1 Yerba Buena Lane (SoMa); bluestembrasserie.com

Fat Cat Thursdays at the Dorian

Looking for live jazz with no cover charge? The Dorian's got you covered, every Thursday. Stop in for happy hour from 4:30 to 6:30pm for $1 oysters and half-off bottles of rosé and champagne, then stick around for the live jazz music from 7 to 9pm. This upscale Marina dining destination also features a mix of classic, contemporary, and original cocktails including hand-crafted martinis, an extensive array of whiskeys, and locally-sourced craft beers. The dinner menu features classic dishes designed to share, such as hand-cut steak tartare, free-range roast chicken, aristocrat's ribeye, and a market shellfish tower. // 2001 Chestnut St (Marina); doriansf.com

Beer-Inspired Cocktails from Belga

It's still Beer Week in the Bay Area, and Belga is serving five beer-inspired cocktails to make sure you don't forget. Crafted by Nora Furst, in collaboration with Belga's certified Cicerone, Ryan Murphy, these cocktails are fun, flavorful, and full-strength. I Only Have Pine for You is made in the style of a Pacific Northwest IPA, while Duck, Duck, Gose mimics the style of Geuze. Beware: the Jagged Little Pils is much more addictive than the Belgian Pilsner it imitates. // 2000 Union St (Cow Hollow); belgasf.com

Burlesque Brunch at PianoFight
