Gastromagic at Outside Lands

If you managed to snag a ticket to this weekend's Outside Lands before they sold out, you're in for a special treat. In addition to the 64 beers from 30 breweries you'll find at Beer Lands and the 120 wines uncorked by 36 winemakers  at Wine Lands, you'll find some magical mash-ups of food, fun, and beverages at the brand new Gastromagic. For the first time ever, Outside Lands is hosting an interactive culinary stage featuring top chefs, artists, mixologists, and comedians. Beverage highlights include Amaro Amore!, a discussion about a bittersweet love for amaro and all its nuances;  Mezcal Mambo Limbo, which amplifies a discussion of mezcal with a troupe of mambo dancers and a limbo contest; and the BBQ & Drank, a lively tasting panel led by comedian Lewis Black to determine whether beer, wine, or bourbon pairs best with Southpaw BBQ. Gastromagic performances are free with your Outside Lands pass, with intimate tasting tables available on a first come, first serve basis. While you're there, you can buy bacon flights from BaconLand to pair with cocktails from 15 Romolo, 1760, Alembic, The Homestead, Local Edition, Bloodhound, and Hotsy Totsy. Golden Gate Park

Hand-crafted Bottled Cocktails at The Brasserie S&P

Usually, when we ask for a cocktail to go, the bartender shuts us down. But not at The Bar at Brasserie S&P. Mixologist David Rowe has concocted five handcrafted bottled cocktails, which will change with the seasons. Each has a distinct flavor profile contained in a recycled tonic bottle with a handmade tag. We're quite enamored with the French Blossom, made with Hendrick's Gin infused with star anise, green apple, and celery and mixed with Lillet and lemonade. The Tuscan Afternoon combines Oxley Gin and Campari with elderflower cordial and Champagne. Priced from $13 to $16, each bottled cocktail is presented with an ice cube frozen around a perfectly paired edible flower or special garnish. The Bar at Brasserie S&P is located in the Mandarin Oriental Hotel and is open daily from 11 am to midnight. 345 California Center

Senegalese Happy Hour at Bissap Baobab in Oakland

Now that Bissap Baobab in Oakland has had a few months to settle into the neighborhood, they've launched a Senegalese Happy Hour. Enjoy $3 beers, $4 infused rums, and $2 off cocktails every Tuesday through Saturday from 3 to 6 pm. For $10, you can take a Baobab Siesta by choosing your three favorite snacks from aloko, pastelles, yucca fries, and avocat créole—a half avocado stuffed with spicy tuna and rice salad. Afro Wraps are available for $8.50 each and made with chicken, beef, or bean cake and your pick of peanut sauce, coconut curry sauce, or yassa—marinated onions in lemon-mustard sauce. Bissap Baobab is open for lunch on Mondays, and for lunch and dinner Tuesday through Saturday. Dinner is served from 5 to 10 pm. 381 15th Street, Oakland

Brunch Drunk Love is Back

If you're still lamenting the loss of Bruno's Brunch Drunk Love pop-up, you'll be pleased to know that Chef Ryan Scott is reviving the tradition at Mason, his new restaurant in Potrero Hill. On weekends from 10:30 am to 3 pm, you can order craft beer by the glass, bottle, can, or half yard, or choose from three brunch drinks, including the Orange Julius Mimosa made with Prosecco Superiore, soft serve ice cream, and orange juice. The food menu for brunch is still under wraps, but this old menu will give you an idea what to expect. Mason is open from from 4 to 11 pm on school nights. The restaurant opens at 11 am on "Power Lunch Fridays" and at 10:30 am on weekends. 338 De Haro Street

Drink and Draw at Moby Dick

Bring your sketchpad to Moby Dick on Mondays, and you'll be rewarded with a chance to study a male model in a variety of poses. From 7:30 to 10:30 pm, sip two-for-one frozen margaritas ($6.50) while a live model strikes 5 minute poses at first, followed by 20 minute poses. There's a new model every week, and the level of undress varies from full pirate regalia to barely-there underwear. Bartender Brandon also promises a special drink menu. 4049 18th Street
