Indulge Your Senses at IndulgeSF
What do you get when you mix local chefs with dancers, musicians, DJs and adult beverages? A smorgasbord for the senses called IndulgeSF. This Thursday at Mighty, Particle Circus will provide entertainment to accompany small bites from Trou Normand, Stones Throw, Rice Paper Scissors, Boxing Room, The Corner Store, Californios, and Hey Cookie. The $60 general admission ticket includes appetizers, a champagne toast courtesy of Scharffenberger, a house cocktail from Mighty, and a cross-media performance by Particle Circus. The $125 VIP Tickets include exclusive access to the VIP Lounge and an open bar hosted by Campo de Encanto Pisco. VIPs can sip all night on Pisco Punch, Strawberry Milk Punch made with aged rum, and a bourbon-based cocktail called Bait & Switch. Form a Dirty Habit
Some people like to drop bad habits, but we like picking them up. Dirty Habit in SOMA is enabling us by launching several new cocktails that we're pretty sure will be habit-forming. Rossini's Muse pairs Condolini Grappa with black cherry, toasted fennel, and candied orange, while the Ellwood Shandy mixes spicy rye whisky with orange peel, eucalyptus, and black pepper. Sunrise in Bombay is a spicy tequila concoction featuring curry spice, white pepper, creamy mango and thai basil. The Honey Bee brings together gin, lavender flowers, orange oil and rosemary. Day Drinking Just Got Fancy
After 18 years of serving dinner only, Farallon restaurant launched a lunch service this week, complete with special lunch cocktails created by Bar Manager Mark Bonin. The Mid-Day Mary ($12.50) is made with Belvedere vodka, chipotle, and housemade bloody mary mix , while the Lynchburg Caddy ($12.50) features single barrel Jack Daniels, peaches, lemonade, and ice tea. Thyme and a Reason ($10) is a bubbly combination of Ketel One vodka, lime, apple pear, thyme and sparking wine. The Gin Ginny Ginger ($12.50) is just what you'd expect Miller's English gin, mint, and ginger beer to taste like. All four cocktails can all be altered for enjoyment sans alcohol, but why would you want to do that? 450 Post Street

On Saturday at noon, join Gary Horner of Erath Winery for Pinot Noir: A Love Story, which offers a window into the art of blending different Pinot Noir clones from different vineyard sites. You'll get a chance to taste three single-clone botlings of Pinot Noir, two single-vineyard bottlings, and Erath's tête de cuvée – La Nuit Magique (“The Magic Night”).
