Doesn't drinking wine right on the shores of Lake Tahoe sound dreamy? This Sunday, August 18, over 25 renowned wineries and over a dozen local Tahoe restaurants will roll out the red carpet with exclusive regional tastings by Lake Tahoe's blue water from 1-5 pm for the 4th Annual Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe's Wine on the Water.
It's the perfect nightcap to a weekend in Tahoe; the event will feature food from the Lone Eagle Grille and wine from vintners like Twisted Oak, Talbott, Educated Guess and Bollinger Champagne, as well as live music and a silent auction (prizes include season passes to Squaw Valley, Alpine Meadows and Northstar California and Hyatt hotel stays in Hawaii, among other locales!).
The event will take place at the Cottage Green beside Hyatt’s private beach. Need any more reasons to go? Tickets to the event will be $65 per person in advance, $75 at the door. All proceeds generated as a result of Wine on the Water will be donated directly to the Boys & Girls Club of North Lake Tahoe. Partying in Tahoe for a good cause sounds like a good reason for a trip to us!
