White Elephant Sale
Treasure hunters, get your gloves out, the Oakland Museum's annual White Elephant sale is here Saturday and Sunday. This huge sale fills an entire warehouse and has people lining up for blocks to scour through the thousands of items. Plus, the event is for a good cause; all proceeds go to the Oakland Museum of California. The event is free and runs from 10 am - 4 pm Sat. and Sun. @ 333 Lancaster St., Oakland
Roller Derby Season Opener
Roller Derby is a brutal bloodbath, so watch from the sidelines and avoid any major bruising. This Saturday, the Bay Area Derby Girls have their season opener. Albany FilmFest
Watch creative stories captured in short film this Saturday at the third annual Albany Filmfest. The festival runs from 12-8 pm and showcases a number of independent works.
