PedalFest What could possibly be cooler than participating in an invasion of Jack London Square with the only weapons of choice being bicycles? You have to witness it for yourself to truly get the "oomph!" appeal out of this showdown. From cyclist safety training and daredevil stunts to kids' cycling rodeos and artistic bike collections, this event promises to deliver the works for all bicycle enthusiasts. Food and live music will be available as well.

Roots of Rhythm & Swing Festival It's also going down at one of Berkeley's favorite hotspots, Ashkenaz, on Saturday night. Talented songbird Lavay Smith and her Red Hot Skillet Lickers will grace the stage again. You won’t mind indulging in their blues-jazz swing flavor to help you decompress after a long work week.  

Arizmendi Bakery & Pizzeria 10th Anniversary Party, Emeryville Come help celebrate one of the Bay Area's most tasty bakeries this Monday in Emeryville. Arizmendi will give away free cake, providing homemade lemonade, showcasing live music, and hosting several fun-filled activities.
