Jack of All Trades Grand Opening

One of Oakland's favorite downtown hangouts has done it again. That's right: Jack London Square presents the first day of a new monthly event to be held every second Saturday, honoring art, culture, and local commerce. Enjoy the works of 100 local artists, vintage and antique collectors, designers, and craftspeople from a variety of other backgrounds. Life is Living 2013 - Prism: Urban Art & Culture Festival 

You also don’t want to miss this year’s Urban Art & Culture Festival. Sunday Streets Berkeley

This Sunday Berkeley’s ready to throw another vibrant street party to promote the city’s one-of-a-kind flavor and positive environmental  changes. The car-free extravaganza will run from Rose Street to Haste Street and feature skating, cycling, yoga, breakdancing, live music, a puppet parade and free bike repairs, among other festivities.
