The 2010 Big Eat SF: 100 Things to Try Before You Die
Fried chicken and waffles at Little Skillet
Welcome to the second annual Big Eat: a serious melting pot of flavors made up of timeless classics, off-the-beaten-path gems and a few – how shall we put it – experiences. Because restaurants in this town are always on the move, 40 of last year's picks have been replaced with memorable newcomers, as well as some oldies and goodies. There's just one caveat: You only have one year to get San Francisco in your belly.
• Think you can spot all 100 in the next year? Take the challenge -- for prizes and glory -- by joining our Big Eat 2010 Scavenger Hunt! (powered by our friends at Foodspotting).
• Or do you think we missed something? Add it to I can't believe it's not in The Big Eat 2010!
Click here for a print-friendly version, download our Facebook app or enter our Big Eat Scavenger Hunt below!

"23. Beer sausage with sauerkraut and grilled onions at Rosamunde Sausage Grill
(Bonus: Bring it Toronado next door and grab a beer to go with it.)"
Extra bonus: Do NOT bring it to Toronado next door and enjoy your sausage without the wretched odors, pretentious & mean bartenders, and the constant violence of the regular crowd.
I don't see anything from Memphis Minnies here, which is a total failure, but otherwise lots of good stuff here.

At Farolito, if you're only going to try one thing, i'd highly recommend the super quesadilla suiza. You can get great super burritos at many places, but the super quesadilla suiza is something very special indeed. And for any tripe fans out there, Farolito does a great tripe taco...yum!g shock watches - suunto watches - technomarine watches - vestal watches - wenger watches

so many amazing places... but Prime Rib, at House of Prime Rib. This is SF, look at the list, look at the attitude of quality. House of Prime Rib serve creamed corn from a huge industrial can. It is cafeteria food at Gary Danko prices. the meat is better at Tommy's Joint and priced properly.
I've been reading a lot of your articles and still not getting tired! Great job!
At Farolito, if you're only going to try one thing, i'd highly recommend the super quesadilla suiza. You can get great super burritos at many places, but the super quesadilla suiza is something very special indeed. And for any tripe fans out there, Farolito does a great tripe taco...yum!

If you live in San Francisco how can you afford these places. We need some low-rent buffets for the locals this is an outrage.
Hazing Prevention Week, which occurred from Monday, Sept. 20, through Friday, Sept. 24, on campus, encouraged students to be mindful of the University of Dayton's steps to prevent hazing.

Why is it that on this web page you list #78 as Taqueria Cancun, and the pdf/printable version that is linked on this page lists #78 as El Farolito??
Which one is it?
Check it out!
STRIKE: 10. I got what must have been leftover fried fish dumped in back into the fryer to heat it back up. It was the greasiest greasy fish I've ever had. Yuck.
ADD: 10. Pang Pang Chicken at Win Fook
STRIKE: 85. Roadside BBQ? Really? Are they an advertiser or something?
ADD: 85. BBQ Pork Bun at Cafe Bakery
