As a New York transplant I have always been thoroughly disappointed at the late night offerings in SF. My two late night staples are NoPa and Chambers. NoPa is usually second choice because its always so damn busy. Chambers reminds me of a NY / Palm Springs mashup (due to the totally out of place pool and patio of the Phoenix Hotel)

Yay for the new category (food trucks) and here's a vote for 3-Sum Eats. I'm an OTG regular, and they're my fave.

Had breakfast there the other day and fell in love with their "Nikko Style" eggs benedict. Instead of the formal English muffin they had a cornbread cakes with a poached egg and chipotle hollandaise...YUM! Have already made my dinner reservations to try their Menu at night, can't wait! Anzu Rocks!

Aq - hands down best newcomer. Venison tartar was slammin... Duck was amazing.

AQ was only OK at best. Nowhere near Son's & Daughters or Commonwealth. Great pr job wagstaff, maybe make it a little less obvious next time.

If i have to pick one restaurant in San Francisco, i would pick with no doubt Loló restaurant, in the mission. Good food, good desserts, good wine, good service good prices and amazing quality of products. Pretty often they have new dishes. Conclusion: I could eat at Loló every day.

AQ and no not stuffing the box. Our son took us there for dinner 12/23 and it was the most delightful meals and service ever. Can't wait to return!

In it's brief existence A.Q. has offered all that one could expect from a satisfying eating experience - great food, good drinks, an inviting atmosphere , and an attentive/intelligent staff. Only time will reveal whether or not A.Q. will continue to improve, invent, and inspire; however, I can say without equivocation that its performance thus far has been most impressive and thus portends the reasonable expectation of A. Q. having a long, prosperous , and culinary delight filled future.
