1. Bourbon & Banter at St. George Spirits: If you enjoy bourbon and comedy, the St. George Spirits hangar in Alameda should be your destination on Friday night. As a benefit for ScholarMatch, which helps underprivileged kids attend college, comedian Aisha Tyler will be recording an episode of her podcast, where she'll interview author Chuck Klosterman. The $125 admission includes the taping and a Q&A, cocktails made with St. George's Breaking & Entering bourbon, food from S&S Gastro Grub, and a raffle for prizes like the opportunity to play poker with Tyler, Klosterman, and St. George head distiller Lance Winters after the show. 2. Summer Solstice Cocktail Competition: This Thursday is the summer solstice (otherwise known as the longest day of the year), and the appropriately named Solstice Lounge is a great spot to celebrate. They're hosting a cocktail competition with four libations made from Square One basil vodka, with attendees serving as the judging panel. Taste all four cocktails for just $5, and indulge in a few drinks and bites-- they'll be keeping prices at happy-hour levels all evening. RSVP here. 3. Linden Street Anniversary Dinner at Bar Tartine: We've already told you about the excellent Our Daily (B)red, a collaboration beer between Linden Street Brewing and Bar Tartine that's fermented with the famed Tartine Bakery sourdough starter. Now, in honor of the brewery's third anniversary, Linden Street's bringing out two more Tartine-yeast beers: Bier de Tartine, a take on a bier de garde, and Tartine Noir, a variation on Linden's beloved Burning Oak Black Lager. To celebrate the anniversary and the release of the new brews, Bar Tartine is holding a special dinner with Linden Street; the $95 ticket (inclusive of tax and gratuity) includes food, paired Linden and Dying Vines beers, and a growler of beer to take home. (Monday, June 25, 7 pm, at Bar Tartine, 561 Valencia St., Mission.) 

4. Summer Namazake Tasting at Ozumo: Unpasteurized summer sakes are a tradition in Japan, and as the official start date of the season approaches, Ozumo is pulling out five of their best namazakes to serve alongside paired Japanese dishes. Jessica Furui, the in-house "SakeMama," will guide drinkers through each of the beverage selections, offering a bit of history along the way. Tickets are $40, and the event is limited to 40 guests. (If you live in the East Bay, Ozumo is also throwing a similar sake party at their Oakland location tomorrow night.) RSVP here. 5. SF Weekly Summer Party: No plans tonight? Our friends at the SF Weekly are launching their Summer Guide with a party on the water (at La Mar Cebicheria, to be specific). The $15 admission (at the door) gets you access to complimentary bites from La Mar, drinks from Air, and live music. According to the forecast, today's the last day of 70-degree weather for a while, so it's a great excuse to get out and enjoy some real summer before San Francisco summer steps back in. (Wednesday, June 20, 6-9 pm, at La Mar Cebicheria, Pier 5, Embarcadero.)
