1. Election Night Cocktails at Blackbird and Solstice Lounge: After you vote on Tuesday, a pair of local bars are happy to reward you for your commitment to doing your duty as a citizen. First up on the list is Blackbird in the Castro, who'll be hosting St. George Spirits for free tastings of their Botanivore and Terroir gins. They'll also be offering two specialty cocktails featuring the gins for $6: the white Negroni (gin, Amaro Montenegro, vermouth, prosecco) and the Poached Pear (gin, lemon, honey syrup, Lambrusco). Simultaneously, St. George will be sponsoring a cocktail competition at Solstice Lounge, with bartenders competing to make the best Terroir gin cocktail as chosen by attendees. The $10 admission includes four cocktails, and they'll have $2.50 tacos and TVs showing the returns. For the latter event, RSVP here. (Tuesday, November 6, 6-8 pm, at Blackbird, 2124 Market St., Castro, and Solstice Lounge, 2801 Divisadero St., Pacific Heights.)

2. Hola Indio Tour: No plans for tonight's Halloween festivities? Consider heading over to Public Works for a dance party sponsored by Vice magazine and Indio beer, featuring Toy Selectah and Mexicans with Guns performing Latino-inspired jams in honor of Dia de los Muertos. Admission is just $1, with all proceeds benefiting the National Museum of Mexican Art, and Indio beer is on the house from 9-11 pm. RSVP aqui. (Wednesday, October 31, 9 pm, at Public Works, 161 Erie St., Mission.)

3. Espolon Dia de los Muertos Pub Crawl: If your schedule doesn't allow you to celebrate midweek, have no fear: the arrival of Dia de los Muertos on Friday will extend the Halloween party into another weekend. Espolon tequila is sponsoring a pub crawl in the Mission on Friday night, which starts at Dr. Teeth for $10 Paloma cocktails (tequila, grapefruit, lemon, ginger beer), heads down the street to Doc's Clock for $5 palomas and tequila shots, and finishes at Elbo Room with more tequila shots and Mexican beer ($8 for the pair). For added local color, 7x7's own Broke-Ass Stuart will be shepherding the festivities. (Friday, November 2, 8 pm-12 am, beginning at Dr. Teeth and the Electric Mayhem, 2323 Mission St., Mission.)

4. Dia de los Muertos at Mighty: Also on the Dia de los Muertos party train is Mighty, which will feature a free show by the DJs of Triple Threat: Shortkut, Vinrock, and Apollo. They'll have free Mexican face painting to get you done up in skeleton style, and for the first hour of the festivities, a gratis open bar to fuel your dancing. RSVP here. (Friday, November 2, 9 pm-2 am, at Mighty, 119 Utah St., Potrero Hill.)

5. $4 Giants Happy Hour at Cantina: With Halloween, Day of the Dead, and the election, there's plenty to do this week, but lest you forget the accomplishments of our noble Giants on the diamond, Cantina is happy to refresh your memory by offering $4 cocktails at happy hour all week long. Sip on a classic Martinez (in honor of Pedro), Diablo, mai tai, pisco punch, or Boothby cocktail, or sample their creation, the Laughing Buddha, with buddha's hand vodka, smashed chilies, ginger, lime, and five-spice-infused agave nectar. It's close to the Financial District, too, if you're looking for a place to unwind after today's parade. (Daily through Friday, November 2, 5-7 pm, at Cantina, 580 Sutter St., Union Square.)
