Looking for dinner, drinks and dancing with new friends? Startup Mind SF has just the ticket, this Thursday night. The evening begins at 8:00 pm at A Taste of Vietnam Noodle Bar & Grill in North Beach with a choice of four different Thai entrees and a Dueling Pianos Show. After dinner, the entire crew will head to Slide for some clubbing. $10 will cover dinner, tax/tip, the Dueling Piano Show, nightclub entry, and a glass of champagne at the club. 2) Bay Area Brew Fest at Fort Mason

The fourth annual Bay Area Brew Fest is back this Saturday at Fort Mason with dozens of breweries, hundreds of beers, food trucks galore, and a DJ. $40 gets you unlimited beer from 2 pm to 5 pm. $50 gets you the VIP treatment, which means they’ll let you in the door an hour before the plebes and pour special beers just for you and the other VIPs. 3) Food Truck Tailgate Party at SoMa StrEAT Food Park
Wondering where to watch the 49ers pummel the Panthers this Sunday? Wander over to SoMa StrEAT Food Park for a food truck football party with $2 PBRs, $3 Anchor Steam and $12 Bottomless Mimosas. Starting at 10 am, you’ll find numerous TVs tuned to the big game, including an 80” big screen. A dozen food trucks will be on site to serve you, including Bacon Bacon, Me So Hungry, Lil Burma, Tacos El Tuca, and FireTrail Pizza. 4) Hangover Sunday Brunch at Elixir

Nursing a well-deserved hangover just got easier, thanks to Elixir’s Hangover Sunday Brunch Series, which continues every week through the Super Bowl. This Sunday, imbibers of adult beverages will receive free BBQ from noon until the food runs out. Chef Jack Andrews will be serving a Sailor Jerry rum-inspired menu, and the bar will be offering $8 Sailor Jerry drink specials during NFL games. 5) Mandarin Oriental: Hotel With a Heart

During January and February, the Mandarin Oriental Hotel is hosting a series of special offers to benefit the American Heart Association. Beverage highlights at the on-site Brasserie S&P include a new crafted Gin & Tonic with house-made papaya, mint, and ginger tonic at $14 per glass; a Vitamin CCC created using Broker’s Gin, carrot juice, orange juice, agave syrup, cilantro, and orange bitters for $12 per glass; and Happy Hour red wines selected by the sommelier from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm on weekdays. Executive Chef Adam Mali has also added a new healthy dish to the dinner menu, featuring grilled Coho Salmon with quinoa, baby kale, and pomegranate gastrique.
