Seasonal Punch and More at BDK

One of San Francisco's favorite bar managers, Kevin Diedrich (Jasper's Corner Tap & Kitchen, Bourbon & Branch, PDT, Clover Club), is now presiding over the bar at BDK and accommodating his adoring fans with new cocktails. Snap Peas is a refreshing take on the gin and tonic, made with London dry gin, sugar snap peas, and manzanilla sherry. The House Old Fashioned is available on tap, while the Seasonal Punch is served table side, from a bottle, for groups of 4 to 6 guests. // 501 Geary Street, in the Hotel Monaco

Communal Brunch Cocktail at Central Kitchen

If you like the communal aspect of BDK's Seasonal Punch, you'll love Central Kitchen's new Pacifica, now available during Sunday brunch, from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. For $48, you'll get a carafe of bubbly wine, plus a selection of fresh squeezed juice, seasonal syrup, and bitters that you can mix and match to create your own boozy brunch beverage. It's easy like Sunday morning. // 3000 20th Street

Taste, then Buy, at Tofino Wines

If you like to test drive lesser-known wines from emerging regions before buying, try out Tofino Wines, a new retail wine merchant and bar featuring more than 500 wines. Besides an informative shopping experience, it's a stylish setting to taste a diverse array of wines by the glass that change weekly. You'll also find craft beer, hard cider, and wine on tap, as well as a featured bottle list. Bottles purchased from the retail shop can be enjoyed in the bar for a $10 corkage fee. The wine shop is named after the wild, coastal town of Tofino on Vancouver Island, BC, where the co-owner spent summers as a teenager. 2696 Geary Blvd
