Monk's Kettle Hosts Abita Brewing
Tonight, when you're ready to get your drink on, head over to Monk's Kettle. The brewpub is hosting Louisiana's Abita Brewing Company in a benefit for the Gulf Coast. The more you drink the more you help—75 cents of every bottle sold will go towards a charitable foundation to aid people affected by the oil spill, and in addition the restaurant will donate half the day's sales of Abita to the charity. The kitchen is getting in on the act with gumbo and crawfish and andouille pot pies.
