A Slow Food Catalan Feast at Contigo

Tequila Tasting with Joanne Weir
Should you want to get your swerve on with noted PBS personality and cookbook author Joanne Weir, we suggest the tequila tasting at Omnivore Books on July 29 from 6-7 p.m. Weir will guide you through a tasting of artisanal tequilas, teach attendees a recipe for “Mexican 75s” and serve hand pies to keep guests from getting too rowdy. Vegan Bake Sale in the Mission
If you like animals and you like sweet treats, then pedal on over to the Vegan bake sale this weekend at Mission Bikes (766 Valencia, between 18th and 19th). Choose from an assortment of vegan baked goods, with proceeds going towards the housing rights committee of SF and Rocket Dog Rescue.
A Behind the Scenes Dinner at B3
