If you love a good brew and are looking to take a trip down the coast, make sure to head to Half Moon Bay Brewing Company’s 10th Anniversary of its Onsite Brewery and Maverick Ale. To celebrate a decade of brewing award-winning ales at their coastside brewery, the company is throwing a free party in their heated (yes!) beer garden with live music, cake and the release of their limited edition 10th Anniversary Ale. 1-4 pm. 390 Capistrano Rd. Calling all home cooks! The San Francisco Cooking School, the Bay Area’s largest program for hands-on cooking classes, will host a public open house at their brand new, state-of-the-art culinary center. With over 75 classes to choose from, chances are, anyone short of an Iron Chef will appreciate at least one of the SFCS’s offerings. The cutting board is a dangerous place for any cook, so why not take a chance to sharpen your knife skills? Embrace the Outdoors with Stag Dining Group as they host The Wilderness Dinner. Making the most of Northern California’s bounty of wildlife, enjoy a dinner fished, foraged and hunted for your enjoyment. An offering for the adventurous diner in mind, The Grand Café is reviving its Misfit Dinner Series. The series highlights less popular cuts, techniques and animals, giving diners the opportunity to taste something new and unusual.
