Experience the Element of Surprise During Parallel 37's Eight-Course Tasting Menu

By

We recently told you about The Ritz-Carlton's new Chef de Cuisine Michael Rotondo at their esteemed, innovative restaurant Parallel 37. Well, Chef Rotondo has managed to garner even more rave reviews for the eatery and lounge with his new eight-course tasting menu experience.

As always, Chef Rotondo's creations highlight food and wine found along the 37th parallel–the circle of latitude running through the SF Bay Area, without forgetting the grand tradition of globally-inspired California cuisine. His eight-course experience is made up of items from their ever-evolving dinner menu, along with extras at the Chef's whim, along with optional beverage pairings that could include wine, cocktails by bar star Camber Lay and beer ($135 per person; $75 optional beverage pairing).

Dinner items already on the menu include "jerked" geoduck clam dumplings with pomelo juice and kaffir lime, striped bass with stinging nettle flat bread and yuzu, smoked lamb belly with charred foccacia and sauerkraut, or aged rib eye with sorrel chimichurri and mushroom chutney–can you imagine the culinary curveballs Chef Rotondo will throw at your tastebuds when he creates additions to your eight-course dinner?

Located in The Ritz-Carlton, San Francisco, Parallel 37 is at 600 Stockton Street, between California and Pine streets. The restaurant is open daily for lunch and dinner, Sunday for brunch and offers valet parking for just $10.
