From 6 to 10 p.m., the corner of Florida and Mariposa streets will be the site of a cool foodie block party that includes a barista throwdown from Coffee Bar, street food vendors Copper Top Pizza Oven and Halal Halal NYC Street Food & Frozen Kuhsterd, and a beer and wine garden. From 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., Hog & Rocks Restaurant is hosting a fundraiser and silent auction for the family of Gaspar "Tio" Puch-tzek, the chef who was shot and killed a few weeks ago when he was mistaken for a gang member. OneVietnam Network's Street Eats charity gala (6-10 p.m.) at the Ferry Building will feature street food along with wine, coffee, dessert, and specialty cocktails from more than three-dozen Bay Area’s restaurants, food trucks, and wineries.
