Mark your calendars: Next Wednesday, November 4, 7x7 has arranged what promises to be a very illuminating, interesting panel discussion—David Chang, of Momofuku fame, Momofuku cookbook co-author (and NY Times writer) Peter Meehan, Chris Cosentino and Meadowood chef Chris Kostow will discuss food, art and—well, who knows what else. Sonoma Wine Supper
On November 4 Laïola will be serving a special wine dinner with Sonoma vineyard Audelssa (named “best Sonoma winery” by SFGate.com). The four-course menu, highlights of which include pork belly confit with persimmons and jamon-wrapped monkfish, will be complimented by delicious selections from Audelssa collection. And then consider becoming a Facebook fan of the St. Regis hotel, which is celebrating the 75th anniversary of the drink throughout the month of November. Every 75th participant who becomes a fan will win brunch for two (with two Bloody Mary’s) at Vitrine, the hotel’s restaurant.
