Sidewalk Chic: Perfect Prints on 18th

By

Name: Nellie Nguyen

Age: 26

Occupation: Artist

Lives in: Duboce Triangle

Wearing: Vintage houndstooth jacket from the NO! store, leggings found in Chinatown, BCBG olive shorts, Horses Santa Fe Bag from Etsy, Tibetan scarf

You couldn't live without: My dog Lola.

Your wardrobe staples: I'm most comfortable in jeans and a t-shirt. I'm not sure whether it's because I'm getting older or lazier.

Style icon: Diane Keaton in the '70s.

What are you most excited to wear this spring (if we ever have one)? Sundresses!

Describe your perfect Sunday: I'd grab a PB&J with fresh strawberries and carrot juice at Courtney's on 14th and Castro and walk up to Corona Heights to watch the city wake up. Then I'd play tennis for a bit and spend the early afternoon lying on my bed listening to Leonard Cohen's "New Skin for the Old Ceremony" record.

Why we love her look: We're smitten with the way Nguyen playfully mixes classic pieces with whimiscal prints...and seriously coveting those perfectly broken-in penny loafers.
