Spruce Your Boots for Less: Local Company's Collab with Target
Joining the ranks of designer labels such as Rodarte and Sonia Rykiel, East Bay-based company The 2 Bandits is releasing a limited edition collaboration with Target today. Called Riders, the leather and chain boot harnesses fit over footwear and offer instant motorcycle-chic appeal.
“Riders wrap around any type of tall boots, ankle boots or booties and are a great way to dress up any boot--old or new, plain or embellished,” says Erica Chan, who founded the company with Tamar Wider in 2008.
The 2 Bandits Riders for Target marks the first collaboration with a major retailer for the small company, best known for its line of boot bands and accessories that offer wearers easy ways to temporarily change the look of plain boots.
Available in the Target Red Hot shop, the Riders come in black leather with black or gold chains and retail for $49.99 a pair, less than the $70 versions in the label’s online shop. We hear from Chan that the Riders will be available through Target for a limited time.
