Are You Ready for the Holiday Bike Challenge?

For most of us, our workout regimen goes out the window during the holiday season. Long bike rides are replaced with more couch time and TV watching; sprint workouts with cookie eating.
But it doesn’t have to be that way. Or so says Rapha Cycling Club.
The Marina-based bike shop and cycling club is posing a challenge: Ride 500K (that’s a little over 300 miles) between December 24 and December 31, and they’ll give you some sweet gear.
Their annual worldwide Festive 500 is just around the corner, and you can still sign up for the challenge. But your Strava account won’t be enough to win you the prizes and accolades from Rapha. They’re looking for creativity and some damn good story telling. Use your blog, Instagram, video, or plain old analog postcards and poetry.
Don’t want to go it alone? Rapha’s hosting group rides every day from their shop. All rides leave from their shop at 8 am.
Happy pedaling off the festive flab!
