Where to Watch The Warriors in Game 6 of the Playoffs

Thursday night the entire Bay Area needs to be awash with blue and gold as the Golden State Warriors battle the LA Clippers for revenge, and what could potentially be the last time. If you're not already a fan, follow these tips for jumping on the bandwagon, and then head to one of these local bars to cheer on the home team. Add your suggestions in the comments.

King of Thai (North Beach)

With two stories of sitting areas and TVs galore, there is room for larger groups to sit around and enjoy the game, plus affordable drinks, and, of course, Thai food. $2 beers (domestic/bottle) and a $5 food menu make this a very attractive place to spend a game. If you see The King himself, be sure to shake his hand and say hello (and maybe it'll be good luck). 1268 Grant Ave.

Go Bar (Oakland)

Smack dab in the middle of Old Town Oakland, Go Bar is the Town's premiere sports bar, and you better believe that this place will be a frenzy of blue and gold on Thursday. The space is a little small, and can get pretty cramped, so arrive early if you want a prime spot in front one of the six TVs that surround the bar. Order up a shot of the day (which is almost always Jameson) for $5 and opt for the chicken tacos – they have a nice kick that will put you in the mood for game day. Happy hour is from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. 736 Washington Street, Oakland

Greens Sports Bar (Russian Hill)

Russian Hill's sport-watching HQs, Greens has a ton of TVs from which to admire the Baby Faced Assasin (Stephen Curry). They don't serve food, but allow you to bring in outside grub (they even have a book of take-out menus for your perusal). 2239 Polk Street

Halftime Sports Bar (Oakland)

There is only one thing to say about Halftime: there are 12 flatscreens — at least one viewable from every single vantage point in the bar, so youll never miss a single shot. If that doesn't convince you though, they also have killer wings and strong drinks. 316 14th Street,Oakland

Ted's Sports Bar & Grill (SOMA)

Maybe it's the cheap beer, maybe it's their famous Korean hot wings, or maybe it's their 10 TVs, but Ted’s Sports Bar & Grill in SoMA sure has whats it takes to be a good sports bar, and it's just the place to watch the Dubs. 312 Harriet Street

The Taco Shop at Underdogs (Inner Sunset)

Want some Mexican fare with your basketball? Beer, margaritas and tacos Nick's Way make The Taco Shop at Underdogs your sport heaven. Opt for the bucket of beers, and make sure to get there early. 1824 Irving Street

Oracle Arena (Oakland)

When it comes down to it, no sports bar can match the feeling of being in the heart of Dubs nation when it does down this Thursday. Tickets are still available(!) so grab some blue and gold facepaint and snag a seat today.
