Okay, so you’ve punched the clock, but want a little nosh to go with your Negroni? Here are five spots where you won’t just have a liquid happy hour—in fact, you can almost call it dinner.

Azúcar Lounge
On Tuesday nights, you can visit this SoMa newcomer for all-you-can-eat tacos for $10 and $4 margaritas from 4pm–11pm.

Bar Crudo
This Divisadero hangout really packs ’em in for happy hour, which runs Tue–Fri from 5pm–6:30pm. On the menu: $1 oysters, their wickedly rich seafood chowder for $5, and can’t-miss rock cod tacos (two for $10). There are beer specials for $3 and wine for $5.

COCO500
Swing by the bar Mon–Fri from 4pm–6pm for the 5-5-5 happy hour, when you can score all kind of goodies for $5: seasonal cocktails (like the Lawnmower or Summer Gimlet), wine, beer, and appetizers like the famed COCOMOLE tacos, house-cured sardines, and fried oysters.

Palio d'Asti
Downtown workers pay a visit to the bar and lounge at Palio for their thin-crust pizzas (there are four to choose from), which are only $1 if you buy two “adult beverages” during happy hour Mon–Fri 4pm–7pm. Figure a couple glasses of wine for $9 a pop (or the make-your-own Manhattan for $10), and you’re still coming out ahead.

Skool
This Potrero Hill-adjacent restaurant hosts Detention Hall Happy Hour Mon–Fri 5pm-7pm, with a bunch of $5 bites, like Skool Sliders made with pork belly or mushroom fries, plus a variety of beers for $3, and $5 cocktails, glasses of wine, or sake. And there’s a patio, score.
