Get FitFormed at Pilates ProWorks

Spin, eliptical, free weights, rest. Repeat.

Sound familiar? Well then it's time to give your tired gym routine a break and head to Cow Hollow's newest fitness studio, Pilates ProWorks.

But this isn't just any pilates workout. Get ready to tighen, lengthen and tone your body from head to toe using the FitFormer, an exclusive new-and-improved reformer machine designed by the owner, Oscan Sanin. The acclaimed exercise system incorporates strength training, cardio, resistance and stretching into the action-packed 55-minute class, which means you probably won't be able to move the next day. Luckily when you need a break from the machine, they also offer an impressive variety of yoga classes.

Ready to try out Pilates ProWorks for yourself? Not only are they throwing a Grand Opening party on Thursday with wine, cupcakes and equipment demonstrations (though we don't recommend trying all three at once), the first class is on them and they're offering one month of unlimited classes for $100! So whether you choose to sign up for your free session at the party or on their website, we suggest taking advantage soon because they're filling up fast.

Pilates ProWorks, Grand Opening Party on 1/28 from 5:30-8 p.m., 2238 Union St. at Fillmore St., pilatesproworks.com, 415-913-7717
